Design a new visual identity and corresponding environmental graphics for
The Children's Museum of Brazos Valley.
Approach
A nonprofit children's museum where children ages infant to 14 are encouraged to have hands-on educational art and science experiences. The museum features activities broken into three areas of the building.
The redesign centers around the idea of motion and progression. Utilizing simple curving lines, the illustrations reflect a child's drawing. The logomark itself is an abstraction of a child and a star. The color palette is broken into three colors, yellow for energy, orange for creativity, and blue for focus.
